Community Ownership - The Unlock Games & Keys
The path to decentralization for Unlock
The Games strive to achieve Community Ownership, one of our foundational values, through contribution based decentralization.
During the Games every contribution to Unlock is rewarded with Keys –– a pre-token to our governance token, UNK. When the Games conclude, anyone can trustlessly claim a retroactive airdrop of UNK based on their Key balance. The exact formula distributing Keys is not public to avoid Sybil activities. Simply put, the more you grow Unlock, the greater your ownership of Unlock.
Unlock Games Stage 1
The Games have 3 stages, each with it's own focus. Stage 1 focuses on Liquid Staked MAV, Guardian Bonuses and Unlock NFTs.
Collect Keys for:
Liquid Staking MAV (
unkMAV).Minting Unlock NFTs.
The more MAV and/or NFT's minted, the greater the Keys you collect.
Multiply Keys by:
Staking unkMAV.
Holding Unlock NFTs.
Using Guardian protocols.
Content Contributions - The Riddle.
Getting the Unlock OG's discord role with quests.
Reaching Community Milestones by increasing Unlock total veMAV balance
The more unkMAV staked, NFTs held, partners used or content created the greater the multiplier to the number of Keys you collect.
